See Geert Wilders and Sam Solomon on their first public evening in Australia. Violent protesters tried to prevent guests and volunteers from entering the venue, some patrons were hit and wrestled to the ground by thugs, until police finally managed to open a passage.
The venue itself could only be secured at the very last minute, thanks to a brave gentleman who knows the true nature of Islam only too well. He came to our rescue after a long booked, fully security briefed and paid-up 5-star hotel in Melbourne's CBD cancelled on us on the Friday night - one working day before the long scheduled event on Tuesday.
A bomb threat delayed the arrival of Geert's motorcade; security checks for patrons and media were tight and the nerves of our security team and volunteers at breaking point. But the atmosphere inside the ball room turned out to be phenomenal, and the defiant mood of the 550 who battled the odds and finally saw Geert take to the stage was truly magnificient; an impression that will stay with everyone who attended for many years.
The video lets you be there again in the midsts of friends of freedom and fellow supporters. Experience the spirit which overtook the room when Sam announced that he just "received orders from the chair...". Those who were there will want to remember this evening, while anyone who couldn't be there will look forward to seeing and hearing it with their own eyes and ears.
